Not wrong, exactly—but a little flat, a little tangled, never quite matching the thing you actually do.

Hi, I'm Heather. I'm a Story Strategist, and I help entrepreneurs, consultants, experts, and corporate-facing professionals build a Portable Story Identity—a clear, flexible way to talk about who you are, what you do, and why it matters. Not a pitch. Not a script. A framework you actually own, and can carry into any room you walk into.
A Little About Me
Before this work, I spent 25 years as an entrepreneur—including owning a from-scratch restaurant, bakery, and gourmet market. That kind of business teaches you fast: how to read a room, earn trust on the fly, and communicate when the stakes are real... sometimes while things are literally on fire.
In the last 18 months, I've told 15 stories on live Moth and Moth-style stages. I'm still doing the reps, because I believe you can't teach what you're not practicing. I'm also an NLP Master Practitioner, a certified breathing coach, and a mindfulness coach—which means I help clients not just with what they say, but with how they show up when they say it.
